FieldMonitor version 7 works with the S1, S1H, and S1R
Wireless monitoring and control app FieldMonitor now supports Panasonic’s full-frame S1-series cameras. FieldMonitor connects over Wi-Fi and offers a wide range of monitoring tools including LUTs, false color, engineering ‘scopes, anamorphic desqueeze, and customizable framelines, masks, and markers. FieldMonitor is designed for video work with direct, onscreen controls for immediate effect.
FieldMonitor version 7 is available for iPhones, iPads, and iPod touches running iOS 9 or later. It uses the same protocol as Lumix Sync, so you can preview the app’s image resolution, latency, and control with the free Lumix Sync app before buying FieldMonitor. Get more information on FieldMonitor’s website, and buy it on the App Store.

HACK your Sigma 18-35mm FULL FRAME | Panasonic S1H + MC-21

Nate’s Film Tutorials:

The Sigma MC 21 adapter does not allow you to use the full frame sensor because it tells the camera it is an APS-C lens. I figured out a “hack” so you can use your Sigma 18-35mm on your Full Frame Panasonic S1 and S1H Camera. It even allows electronic control of aperture and autofocus, however it is not ideal because when you turn of the camera it resets to Super 35mm (APS-C) Hopefully Sigma or Panasonic can fix this issue.
