A source (Thanks!) shared this image of the S9. For the first time we can see the top of the camera. And it’s also clear it has no mechanical shutter to keep the body “slim”. I also have been told there are two compact lenses coming! One is the 18-40mm pancake zoom and another one is a pancake prime.
I ask the same source (and all other sources) if it’s possible to get images of three important missing pieces:
- The back of the S9
- The new 18-40mm lens
- the new pancake prime

- no fan
- dedicated LUT button on camera to select your style
- possibility to upload your own LUT styles
- four different body color versions (Black, Blue, Green, Red)-
- $200-$300 cheaper than S5II
- The camera is aimed at “content creators” and people who want to have a very compact camera.
2) Pansonic Lumix 18-40mm L-mount lens:
- compact Full Frame AF lens
- aperture unclear yet
3) Panasonic compact prime (specs unknown)
