Additional Technical notes:
- Low rolling shutter
- Same IBIS and same Image Quality of the S5II
- All S5II recording features are there! Open Gate and so on…
- S9 doesn’t have a fan, recording is limited to 10 minutes at 6K and 15 minutes at 4K.
- not a great location for usbc c and micro hdmi
- battery looks like blk22 (most likely it)
- I think 1 slot only (didn’t ask)
Curiosity:
- LUT button let’s you select your own LUTs.
- There will be a new LUT App from Lumix
- no attachable EVF
- Some features of the S9 coming on S5II in autumn
- Menu is a more “simpler” version of the S5II menu
My take:
The US price is very ok, even if it’s likely to NOT have the 26mm pancake as a freebie. Specs are solid too. I think I will buy one and you?
