The Panasonic S1 and S1R cameras are not complete cameras yet. They have been announced but the specs don’t seem to be solidified. I may sound a little harsh in this video, but now is the time for them to make changes in the camera BEFORE it starts production. Not having an articulating screen – from Panasonic of all companies – is almost unimaginable!!!
Imaging Resource talked to Sigma CEO Kazuto Yamaki. Here are some key info:
I do hope some newly designed L-mount lenses will be launched in 2019 too. because the Sigma FE lenses for Sony are way to big and ugly 🙂
Photogearnews interviewed a Panasonic UK manager and here are three key info:
1) He makes some Nikon-Canon poke fun and says “you will be pleased to know it has two card slots” 🙂
2) Focus was on the balance between camera and lens
3) Interesting: 30% of the system camera market is Full Frame. 70% non Full Frame (APS-C, MFT)
