The image above shows the new Sigma 85mm f/1.4 L-mount with completely new design. It will be announced on August 6th! It will have half the weight and half the size of the DSLR version.

My overriding impression is that it feels like Sigma has tried to address a videographers’ wishlist but perhaps doesn’t yet have the experience in video to make the implementation as elegant as it could be. But Sigma has promised a major firmware update. And it’s also apparent that there’s a lot of capability crammed into the fp, even before exploring one of its defining features by shooting Raw footage.
Sony A7sIII vs the Panasonic S1H
Sony announced the new A7sIII which directly competes with the Panasonic S1H. BH posted a special camera comparison post here. Impressive that Sony managed to NOT use any active cooling to avoid overheating.

(L3) Will Panasonic soon announce the new DC-S5?
The Japanese site Nomadly claims to have found a Panasonic document accidentally listening a new unreleased DC-S5 camera. There was no info about the possible specs of the camera.
Panasonic stated multiple times that they are working on a new entry level FF camera. I think it’s highly possible we might get this one in autumn!
