Panasonic Japane shared the monthly production rate for their new gear. They will make:
150 S1R cameras per month
600 S1 cameras per month
120 50mm f/1.4 lenses
120 70-200mm f/4.0 lenses
20 24-105mm f/4.0 lenses
I am surprised to see such a low number for the 24-105mm lens which I think is going the be the more popular of the three!

This is the first Panasonic 50mm f/1.4 S real world review. A stunning performance!
On top you can see the new Panasonic 50mm f/1.4 S on the left followed by the Sigma ART, the Nikon F and the older Nikon 50mm f/1.4 lens. We all did wonder why the new Panasonic lens is so big and also so expensive.

Looks like the Leica Q will use the same Panasonic S1R sensor!
On Mirrorlessrumors you can read the full rumored Leica Q2 specs. The curious news is that the Leica seems to use the same Panasonic S1R 47 Megapixel sensor. Panasonic said this sensor isn’t made by Sony. But that’s something Nikon keeps telling too and we know their sensors are made by Sony.
